Examples of haram foods are pork, blood, meat from a dead animal, meat from an animal who was {butchered|slaughtered} rather {brutally|viciously}, and all kinds of food where the name of Allah was not {mentioned|observed|remarked} during the preparation and before {partaking|partaking in}. Alcohol is also a {strictly|rigorously|stringently} {prohibited|unlawful|forbidden} substance. Outside these food items, Islam {believers|worshippers} {eat|consume|take} the halal foods, or those which are {permitted|granted|allowed}.}

Many of us have seen the term Halal Restaurant put up on eateries, but not all of us know what it means. More and more food items and eateries put up this mark. And although we have an idea that it must have something to do with Islam, we don’t know for certain what it is.

Do we have to disregard the quality of food just because it is delivered to our homes? Not so. Excellent meals should be at the best quality whether or not you choose to eat at the restaurant or have the meal delivered. Cafes and fast food branches should serve the same quality of the food being delivered especially because most of them charge extra for delivery fee. Restaurants also require so that the customer’s request for the food to be delivered will be granted.
