There is a growing green industry throughout the world. Individuals working in green technologies and industries can be found in solar energy, building design, hydro energy, and many other parts of new construction and retro-fitting of older buildings. When a building or alternative energy source is designed and created using green technology, it is inspected by a LEED Green Associate prior to it receiving the LEED certification.

Then will go on to train an additional approximate of three years with a certified auditor to apply what was learned in school.
