The increase in levels of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, specifically CO2, is attributed mostly to large-scale industrialization. Since the mid-1700s, huge factories, using machines that ran on fossil fuels, have spewed their emissions into our air. Over time, this continuous accumulation of CO2 dioxide has contributed to what is known today as Worldwide Warming. Aside from the burning of fossil fuels, the systematic clearing of forests to make way for more factories and various other human structures has also added to the increase of CO2 dioxide in the atmosphere.
